Biography

My name is José Nuno Rosado and I'm an amateur photographer, born and based in Alentejo, Portugal.

 

In my work, I try to capture the beauty of the landscape and the built heritage, as a way of making it known and, at the same time, raising awareness of the need to preserve it, in a context that is currently one of accelerated change and great challenges.

The desire to capture the beauty of my surroundings, together with my basic training (Landscape Architecture), naturally led to a preference for landscape photography and nature-related themes.

In my artistic expression, I try to put into practice the values I believe in, preserving the environment and defending sustainability in everything in my power, which involves respecting living beings and the integrity of the landscapes and monuments I photograph.
